I grew up on a farm in Southeastern New Mexico. One of my fondest memories was loading a stack of records onto our chest size record player and listening to the music of that era, from Hank Williams, Webb Pierce, Patsy Cline, and Pay Price. We might be relaxing from our workday, cooking, or going about our day, and there were times that we might even dance and sing to the music. The albums in the photo submitted are from my Mom’s collection. She is no longer with us, but we have preserved and cherish her music collection. Those were much simpler times.
