My daughter and I attended Vince Gill and Paul Franklin's concert at Wisconsin Dells 10 years ago this month for the promotion of the Bakersfield album. I have seen Vince in concert numerous times, but this night will always stand out in my heart. You see, we received news that afternoon that my dear father-in-law had just passed away. Family urged us to still attend the concert, and it was full of tears and memories for me. My daughter got me the set sheet from a stagehand. We waited out behind the theater and I met both men, got both autographs on the set sheet, and got my picture with Vince. These treasures still hang in a frame on my wall. Vince is, and always has been, my favorite!
