My sweetest memories, are when my dad and I would hang out after I got off from working the graveyard shift. We would sit and talk for hours until he tried to get me to go home and sleep before work started the following evening. What he didn't know about me was that I have insomnia and couldn't sleep even if I wanted too. My dad wasn't just my dad, he was my bestfriend, he was everything to me, he was my hero. When my dad died in 2011, my heart broke and a big part of me died with him.
I dont know if I can ever get over this loss. I feel like it should've been me that died that day. (This is the sweetest memories that I have in my mind and in my heart?)
