My dad was a guitar savant and had a high beautiful tenor like Vince Gill. We grew up with country music rolling through our house. Even though my dad was born in 1930, he discovered Vince Gill’s music. First time I heard him, I needed to have more. So my collection began. I would sing every song as his albums came out. My kids had to listen to that each time we hopped into the car. I thought our voices sounded pretty good together. Then as-chance would have it, I was able to be fortunate enough to see Vince in concert in Spokane Washington twice and then he came to my little town in Sandpoint, ID for a festival concert. I wasn’t going to miss that. He is my all time favorite and he’s on the top of my iTunes playlist. He’s one of a kind, extremely talented both vocal and stringed instruments. I couldn’t believe how many guitar changes he made in Spokane. He is the epitome of a legend in the Country music industry and only deserves greatness in his life with his beautiful wife Amy. I also got to hear his daughter. He’s super genuine and has a huge heart. We are lucky to be able to have this kind of talent in our lifetime. God bless. Photo is of my dad in the 50’s they had a band called The Rambling Troubadours
