My sweet memory is of traveling to Nashville back in the early 1990s with my brother Gary pictured here. We came to fanfare that summer in June and had such a fun time. It was like plains ,trains and automobiles because we traveled by greyhound bus to get to Nashville that year and met lots of interesting people along the way. We were waiting to see you then at your booth that day or your table and we could not get to you the lines were so long. So my son and I and 2 of my other cousins that travelled with me sent a hand written note to you. We let you know that Les singer was married to our cousin Lizzie and that we traveled all this way basically to see you and all we wanted was an autographed picture. You were so sweet and took the time to autograph pictures for each of us after you read that note,, we still have them of course! you also came around to us finally and gave us a hug once we told you we were related to les. My son was absolutely thrilled! He was only 10 at the time.. he is no longer with us he died in a car accident at age 32 and left 3 small children behind back in the late 90's. We did get several pictures of you on that trip and those autographed pictures were just precious so I thank you for that for making such a precious memory and sweet memory For all of us that came that day. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm also a musician and play mandoline with a blue grass group here in Des Moines, IA. We saw you in concert here a couple years ago! Thanks for being a blessing that year at Fan Fair!!
