This beautiful, colorful, chaotic moment of joy and sweetness was taken at our first family Christmas after my mom went to heaven. We always had holidays at her house because it was hard for her to leave her house for medical reasons. We were able to have it at her house and I just wasn't sure how it was going to be. Her love truly, almost physically, surrounded us and they're was a beautiful presence of her spirit. We had all but two of the kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids and we shared fun memories and made so many precious new ones. I sat in a chair so that I could see the whole room and all of the mayhem and it was a heavenly sight! I couldn't imagine a Christmas without her, but that moment made realize I don't have to. Her spirit will be with us in all that we do. That was a truly sweet moment and now a sweet memory.
