My whole family has been into GOOD country music forever. I was raised around it my whole life. My dad who has played guitar since he was 10 (over 70 years experience) is the best there is in my opinion. He can play ANYTHING. Was asked from many well know singers such as Johnny Paycheck & Mark chestnut to play with him, but he would always turn them down only because he likes to do his own thing. My mom, who’s got the voice of an angel. Not an understatement. Frequently sings “Pride” by Ray Price and is a big fan of Dawn Sears. My brother Jason, who cut a CD out in Nashville just out of high school, sounded like and still does, Mr. Ray Price. Ray has ALWAYS had an impact to our family and I attribute everything I know and love about classic country to him. This picture was when he was in my hometown Billings, MT of my brother, Ray and I. My whole family got to see and meet him after the show, he stuck around for pictures and I’ll never forget what he said to me and my brother when I was taking our girlfriends at the time picture of them and Ray. He said, “take your time with this one boys”. Lol. Always had a good sense of humor and was nothing but a class act. I appreciate what you two gems are doing to honor the great Ray Price and for helping to keep real country music alive. Michael
