As a teenager, I had the pleasure of traveling with my great aunt and great grandmother to Pottsville, Arkansas, where we visited family and attended a family reunion. It was a truly unforgettable experience for me. Despite my great aunt's poor health at the time, I was able to provide her with assistance and support, which made me feel proud. I was also fortunate to listen to captivating stories about our family's rich history, which spans across numerous states, including Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri, dating back to 1600. I have always had a deep admiration for my family's heritage. Interestingly, I discovered that my great great great uncle played a crucial role in the construction of the old Highway 65 in both Arkansas and California. This knowledge has strengthened my connection to my family's past even further.
